TLDR: percevejos. 0/10Eu fiquei em muitos albergues e sei o que esperar. Você paga menos do que pagaria por um hotel porque não tem frescuras e geralmente compartilha um banheiro, se não o próprio quarto. No entanto, este lugar não atendeu a esses padrões básicos.Dia 1: Dormi bem, a manutenção estava sendo feita na lavanderia tornando inutilizável, um dos banheiros desligado como resultado. Não é grande coisa e não teria avaliado mal com base nisso.Dia 2: Acordado pela namorada à meia-noite me dizendo que ela encontrou um percevejo. Procure fronha e colchão para encontrar mais percevejos e manchas de sangue típicas de percevejos. Imediatamente chame o front office e peça reembolso, pois agora temos que sair no meio da noite, o que é extremamente inconveniente. Disse que só podemos ser reembolsados uma noite porque ficamos na noite anterior. Gerente antipático e age como se estivéssemos exagerando em querer sair. Total BS. Definitivamente não é recomendado.

Depois de um dia muito longo e estressante em que nosso único veículo confiável quebrou a caminho das consultas médicas de nossos filhos de 2 anos, meu chefe tentou nos ajudar conseguindo um quarto. Antes da chegada tardia, liguei e falei com o gerente e atualizei o número de pessoas que ele disse que atualizaria o quarto para 2 camas, sem nenhum custo extra. Na chegada, a pessoa que cuidava do escritório foi extremamente rude. Gritou comigo por não haver todas as pessoas listadas em seu sistema. Expliquei a ele que disse ao gerente sobre isso e que o gerente disse que iríamos conseguir uma cama de 2 sem nenhum custo extra. Ele gritou comigo por isso e disse que haveria. Depois de cerca de 15 minutos sendo completamente desrespeitado, finalmente disse a ele para cancelar a reserva e devolver a minha identidade e a da minha esposa e saímos e dormimos no carro do meu chefe.

No recomiendo quedarse aquí. I do not recommend staying here. After a very long stressful day of our only reliable vehicle breaking down on our way to our 2 year olds doctors appointments my boss tried to help us by getting us a room. Prior to late arrival I called and spoke to the manager and update the number of people he said he would upgrade the room to 2 beds at no extra charge. Upon arrival the person taking care of the office was extremely rude. Yelled at me for there not being all people listed in their system. I explained to him I told the manager about it and that the manager said we were getting a 2 bed at no extra charge. He yelled at me for that and said there would be. After about 15 minutes of being completely disrespected I finally told him to cancel the reservation and give mine and my wife's IDs back and we left and slept in my bosses car.

Great place to stay and save some money. Staff is very friendly and the accommodations are great for the price. There is toast and seven kinds of cereals, with bacon!! For dinner I've had ribs and fish and shrimp and it was free!!! Great place to stay and save some money!!!!

Eu fiquei neste albergue por duas noites. No segundo dia da minha estadia, Sherman, que trabalha no escritório, acusou-me de atrasar a minha visita sem pagar. Expliquei a ele que paguei uma estadia de duas noites. Claro que não se pode confiar na palavra de ninguém, então ele vai ao escritório e verifica se paguei por duas noites. Isso me fez sentir indesejável. Antes de sair, eu não podia levar minhas compras comigo porque a porta da cozinha estava trancada. Liguei para Sherman para ver se ele poderia destrancar a porta para que eu pudesse levar minhas compras comigo e ele grita comigo por acordá-lo, embora esteja afixado na porta do escritório para ligar se não houver ninguém no escritório.

I stayed at this hostel for two nights. On the second day of my stay, Sherman who works in the office accused me of overstaying my visit without paying. I explained to him that I paid for a two night stay. Ofcourse no one's word can be trusted so he goes into the office and verifies that I paid for two nights. This made me feel unwelcome. Before I left I couldn't take my groceries with me because the door was locked to the kitchen. I called Sherman to see if he could unlock the door so that I could take my groceries with me and he yells at me for waking him up even though it's posted on the office door to call if no one is in the office.

Cada vez que tento fazer uma reserva ligando para este albergue (dei a este albergue muitas chances), o representante / recepcionista do atendimento ao cliente foi TÃO RUDE, TÃO HOSTIL, SIGNIFICATIVO, DESRESPEITO, CONDESCENDENTE, e eu disse rude? Nos últimos anos, pensei que seria melhor ligar novamente, mas não tive sorte. Literalmente, ele me rebaixou quando perguntei respeitosamente sobre um quarto com uma atitude amigável, em vez de ser cortês, compreensivo e respeitoso. Quando eu disse que esta era a milionésima vez que o Avenues Hostel falava com tanta grosseria, ele disse "boa sorte" e bateu o telefone na minha cara. Se você está procurando por algo barato e conveniente em uma boa área, precisará de boa sorte e paciência no processo de reserva e eu só poderia imaginar - o nível de atendimento ao cliente ao morar no local. Eles acham que as pessoas vão reservar de qualquer maneira, já que é muito barato. Precisa ser DESLIGADO. As pessoas que trabalham lá parecem terrivelmente infelizes e eu não gostaria que meu cachorro ficasse lá! Corrija sua atitude Avenues Hostel !!!

Every time I attempt to book by calling this hostel (I've given this Hostel too many chances), the customer service representative/ receptionist was SO RUDE, SO HOSTILE, MEAN, DISRESPECTFUL, CONDESCENDING, and did I say rude? For the last several years, I thought it would be better if I called again, but no luck. Literally, he demeaned me when I inquired respectfully about a room with a friendly demeanor, instead of being courteous, understanding, and respectful. When I said that this has been the millionth time I was spoken to so rudely by Avenues Hostel, he said "good luck" and slammed the phone on me. If you're looking for something cheap and convenient in a good area, you will need good luck and patience in the process of booking and I could only imagine- the level of customer service while actually living in the place. They think people will book anyway since it's so cheap. It needs to be SHUT DOWN. The people working there seem terribly unhappy and I wouldn't want my dog staying there! Fix your attitude Avenues Hostel!!!

El peor lugar para poder hospedarse, el recepcionista en un horror de persona tratando mal a los huéspedes y buscando tener la razón siempre incluso cuando está equivocado y se burla de las personas, además venden publicidad engañosa porque ni si quiera aparecen en redes como habitaciones que se tienen que compartir, simplemente ponen que tendrás una habitación propia ybaño propio cuando no es cierto. Nunca opten por este lugar, porque además tienes que pagar incluso si no te hospedarás.

Classic hostel vibe with lived in furniture and no frills facilities. 20 min walk to good bars and restaurants. Staff were beyond wonderful. Thank you for a great couple nights. Breakfast and dinner(if made) tasted very good.

TLDR: Bed bugs. 0/10I’ve stayed at many hostels and know what to expect. You pay less than you would for a hotel because it’s no frills and you usually share a bathroom if not the room itself. However this place did not meet those basic standards.Day 1: Slept fine, maintenance was being done on laundry room making it unusable, one of the bathrooms shut down as a result. Not a big deal and wouldn’t have rated poorly based on this.Day 2: Woken up by girlfriend at midnight telling me she found a bed bug. Search pillowcase and mattress to find more bed bugs and blood stains typical of bed bugs. Immediately call front office and ask for refund because we now have to leave in the middle of the night which is extremely inconvenient. Told that we can only be refunded one night because we stayed the night before. Manager unsympathetic and acts as if we’re overreacting for wanting to leave. Total BS. Definitely not recommended.
