It is a very nice and quiet hotel. Far away from a big city. Excellent food and friendly staff. It is not true that everyone is expectining tips there. I would even say that behind the door of the hotel it is more like Europe than Egipt. Nobody wants to take adventage on you. I felt fully safe and secured. Beatiful reef right next to the hotel beach, with wonderful fish and turtle called Monica. Amazing place where life slows down. First I had some objection about the room but in two days it was changed and I was fully satysfied. I can highly recommend this hotel for those who like quiet place and friendly staff with good food and a beatiful beach!

At first, we didn't stay at the coral sun, but at coral garden resort. We would never book coral sun, just because of the terrible, noisy music every evening, which totally disturbs the quite atmosphere of gassous bay. We stayed several times at the lovely small coral garden resort, which is north of the gassous bay. But you will hear the loud music from coral sun even in the complete bay in the evening. So you will be part of the Mini Disco or german schlager evening....terrible!!! You can understand every word of the speaker, from the other side of the bay! Only a strong wind from north provides a little bit more of silence. If there is no wind, you here everything as if you are at the coral sun hotel, even if your at coral garden. So bring ear plugs if you wanna enjoy quiet evenings.

To start with when arriving at our room we was welcomed by the fresh smell of of urine which filled the entire room. After complaining to reception twice they eventually agreed to move us to a new room.
Thankfully the new room did not smell of anything however the air-conditioning unit was not working correctly and the door would not close the only supplier one bottle of water a day in your room if you lost your card or your door keycard ! in your room you'll be charged €5 for do not take anything out off your fridge r you be charged for everything in your room like a bear is €8 not everything is inclusive you have to pay for more water €10 for 20 bottles of water have to call reception three times to pick up and if you have a shisha just don't it it's not worth it the beach is amazing very nice we had a nice guy who's called moody very polite very nice quad biking with him it was very nice

Just returned from this amazing hotel after two weeks pure relaxation. The hotel is spotlessly clean , the pool is brilliant, the beach is great. All the staff are fantastic, they cannot do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble. The entertainment team are very good also. Very enthusiastic. Even though it is about an hour from the airport, it is definitely worth the journey. Love this place - it is one of the best holidays that I ve ever had. Thank you. xx.
