This was a great place to stay for a quick January visit to the Grand Canyon. We stayed in the suites that were across from the main building that were considered adults only. They were not. We heard kids running up and down the halls as well as in the room next door. We love children but when you are telling your guests that it is an adults only building... I don't think it's fair to allow kids... Roberta works the breakfasts over at the adult only building and she is AMAZING! She gave some wonderful advice on places to eat, walk, and how to be patient with the canyon. If it wasn't for her recommendation of patience we wouldn't have seen the canyon in its beauty. The breakfast spread was wonderful and nicely stocked. The coffee was nice and hot! The hot tub in the building was well kept and clean. It was perfect for our three night stay.

If I could rate this hotel as a 10 I would!! The staff is absolutely AMAZING and attentive. The breakfast staff keeps the eating area immaculate, they are kind, willing to get you drinks and clear your plates as you finish, and the sweet Hispanic lady made my kids hot chocolate every morning we were there. Breakfast choices were abundant! The night manager was kind as well. Pool and hot tub is great, rooms were super clean and cozy. I have never stayed in a Holiday Inn as well-maintained as this before. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone coming to visit the Grand Canyon if you are not in one of the lodges, tent camping, or have an RV.

My wife and I arrived at South Rim for an afternoon and sunset Bible based Creation tour. We were on a “relaxed” (no reservations ahead) trip of National Parks. Coming back from our tour we were very happy to find Holiday Inn Express, one of our favorites, had a room available and a military discount. Check in was fast and easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was super clean, comfy and well equipped. Beds were firm and room was quiet. A huge surprise was dispensing bottles of Dove Shampoo, Conditioner and Bath Gel! Because my skin tends to be dry I loved it. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

The breakfast area is like twice as big as every other hotel and is stocked FULLY. Literally a team of people for the breakfast rush. There’s a lady who is probably the happiest and most friendly human ever that works in breakfast area. She refuses to let you do your own toast or juice or anything else for that matter. Hands down the happiest human I’ve ever run into. Great place to stay. Reasonable price. What else you need? Thanks all!

My fiancé & I were looking for somewhere reasonably priced to stay for our Grand Canyon vacation. This place blew us away with the quality of service, the immensely cleanliness, & the general location. It is very close to the shuttles that run during the summer, & is within walking distance of food, & even a general store. The breakfast staff was so kind, & kept the area clean & stocked for the entire 3 hours. The hotel room was extremely clean the moment we walked in. The staff held out bags until we needed to leave but had to check out. I recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere that takes cleanliness seriously, offers a reasonable amount of breakfast options, & has a wonderful location!

Really enjoyed that the hotel has 2 buildings and we stayed in the adult only. Breakfast was nice and without small children messing with the common food is a relief. Just one very small thing, the bathroom door opens into the bathroom and if you are sitting on the stool and someone opens the door, it will hit your knees. Small bathroom so not sure it can be fixed. Baseboard in bathroom poorly installed.

The breakfast lady, she was friendly, helpful and a worker! Wasn't able to use the toilet until the next morning. Had to come downstairs and use the lobby bathroom. Their was no other available rooms my discount was $20.00.

Location/cost Restaurants near the hotel closed at 9 on a Saturday night and McDonalds was outrageously priced. Of course that is not reflective of the hotel, the breakfast at the hotel was wonderful with variety. The pool was strong with chlorine, hot tub worked!
