Salou

Cet hôtel situé aux portes de Port Aventura comprend 497 chambres réparties dans 14 bâtiments construits autour d'un lac. Le Club San Juan dispose d'une réception indépendante, d'un restaurant avec terrasse et d'une piscine privative. Le centre de Salou n'est qu'à 1,5 km, avec ses nombreux boutiques et équipements. La plage publique la plus proche est à environ 2 km. Le parc d'attractions Port Aventura se trouve à 1 km. L'hôtel dispose également d'un terrain de beach-volley et de beach soccer, d'une piste d'athlétisme de 1,5 km et de jeux d'échecs en plein air.

Checkout was awful a member of staff barged into our room and was so rude even tho we was only around 20 minutes late checking out. Came down to complain because was so disgusted and she carried on being rude saying it was our fault it’s not like it created any issues for her as the cleaners were all the way down the end of the corridor . There’s a sign that says late check in is offered however we was refused it even though are flight isn’t until 2am (Many other people have said this too while we’ve been here) . Why hasn’t the sign been taken down? Member off staff on reception was so rude about it was absolutely disgusted I even asked to speak to the manager who was apologetic but I do not expect this from a hotel . Refused us towels for showers even though ours were all in our suitcases and we were told days before we can get towels when we check out .Food was awful nothing “appealing” under cooked burgers they were bright pink inside . Poor selection of food the amount of kids I saw with just chips on there plate as there was not enough options. Dining staff was unbelievably rude refused us entry as “too busy” and we said we have a table because the rest of the people we were with got a table to accommodate all of us . Told him this and he refused us entry . When we finally got in about 5 minutes later I was disgusted to find so many tables empty and still a rather large queue outside. Only good thing about this hotel was how close it was to other bars and restaurants that had appealing food .

This was our 3rd time at this hotel, and will be our last. There was no shuttle train to the park, apparently they stopped it a year ago so now you have to walk 1km to get to the gate of the park. The food this time is the same every day, while last time each night was varied. The staff this time too barely speak English and they don't have enough staff on during dinner times. I found the reception staff quite uncaring. In general a poor stay for a 4 star hotel...I suggest you book somewhere else that's closer .

This is my second time at the hotel. From the first time I had a positive impression. This time I didn't like it at all. before there was a train to port aventura there was a shuttle to the beach. now it's not. We were put in the worst house ever. The rooms in Margarita's house are in need of repair. But that's not the worst. Strong smell of smoking weed. Cigarettes are scattered around. The cleaners don't understand basic things in English. disgusting cleaning of the room, the floor was not washed, the balcony was not cleaned even once, although several times I drew the attention of the staff. Therefore, there are many insects in the room. bed linen is dirty. The territory of the hotel is not cleaned, cigarette butts and pieces of paper are everywhere. there is a smell of marijuana. I absolutely do not recommend!

Maria Klimova

Really good theme park hotel. Really close to all three parks. Nice hotel, great pools, and a beach. Buffet meals have a great variety, especially for kids. Staff are friendly and helpful. It helps if you learn a few Spanish phrases. Rooms were big, clean and ours had a view of the pool (most rooms seemed to have a balcony with a pool view). There seems to be false reviews on trip advisor, as we loved this hotel. Im just back from there, I stayed with a teenager and a 7yr old, and it was a lovely hotel. No entertainment but you have the parks and there are shows every night. You can eat at the park and get a voucher from the hotel to cover most of the cost of a meal out. Left luggage is €4for an XL locker.

Louise Cairns

Very well maintained and beautiful resort well within the premise of Portaventura park. The rooms are comfortably sized with beautiful ambience. The resort has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. The breakfast at the hotel was very good with also options for vegetarians and vegans. It also has a mini disco which we did not explore though. The entire facility is very calm, clean, kid friendly, safe and beautiful. This resort is a perfect place to spend fun-filled weekend with your loved ones. The staff is very friendly and helpful
