Spectacular hotel with a spectacular history. Beautifully restored and maintained heritage building with style and finesse to match. The rooms are very spacious and the beds ever so comfortable. Perfect central location for everything you need to visit in Melbourne CBD. The lovely owner Denis goes out of his way to make your stay as nice as possible. Down to the smallest details. Offering an umbrella for us in the rain, surprising me with birthday cakes and taking the time out of his day to take some lovely photos of us in the stunning grand staircase. It's the people you remember most on holidays and Denis is one of those people. We look forward to returning again.

Stayed here for work this past week. Dennis, the manager was super lovely and friendly, I really appreciated the card and chocolates in my room. The hotel is well maintained and super fun to explore and walk around in. The gym and pool were also really nice to spend time in. All in all my new favourite place to stay in Melbourne and will defiantly be back! Highly recommend.

Lovely to return to Melbourne after a few years and to return to The Grand. Wonderfully looked after by Denis and all the staff. Love this grand old lady with high ceilings, comfy bed and love having a kitchen, especially given was there for a week and, even with Melbourne's great food options, its nice not to eat out for every meal. I was there for a conference and find the Grand perfectly positioned for the MCEC and town, with the option of the free trams round the city if feeling tired.

We have been treated amazingly here. We checked in early to an amazing apartment.
The exterior of the building is amazing, Victorian built design and an incredible internal stair case.
The executive apartment is very spacious with everything you need.
Very comfortable bed.
Would stay here again.
