I love this place so much! Our room was very clean, nice balcony, very relaxing view, all the stuff were so accommodating, genuine, they all seem to love what they’re doing! I am very satisfied with my stay here. The beach and the pool were amazingly beautiful and clean too! Snack bar is open until 2pm, so you won’t have to worry if you ever get hungry. The buffet were so good as well! I recommend this place. So worth it!👌🏻

Hello and good day. I have been to Mexico many times but this trip this year has by far been the greatest. The Reef Playacar has done above and beyond to accommodate our needs and keep us happy with our stay during our honeymoon, they presented us with the best suite by putting decorations everywhere and providing multiple high-end restaurants that range from Japanese cuisine, to Mexican and Italian. The Reef Playacar has the best beach view and makes you feel like you're in a jungle but jungle heaven!!! I am so pleased to stay here and truly suggest the Reef Playacar resort to everyone, the staff was phenomenal particularly Jesus, he made sure that we were fully satisfied and happy .Thank you to everyone at Reef Playacar Resort we appreciate everything you've done for us and hope to visit again.

Jungle ambiance right on the beach with plenty of pools in case of bad tides. Loved the getaway. The buffet was nice, upscale but generic buffet food. You have top grey a cab to get to anything else Mexican or seafood. Foodies should plan for outings, families will be fine. Close to Xel-ha water park which is a must.

The location was great and beautiful. It’s a beach front property but it’s about a good 3 blocks of walking to it distance wise. However I was given the opportunity to upgrade my all inclusive to the all premium package before arrived. DO NOT UPGRADE! They will not honor it and the staff ignores you when you ask for any of these perks and none of the managers return your calls and in person pop ins. They didn’t even refund the $175 upgrade. I spent most of my time frustrated with staff instead of enjoying the resort. The beds are hard and uncomfortable just like all of the other reviews. The restaurant options were very slim and not as good as smaller properties in the area.

Clean resort and nice to walk around with the jungle feel. Beautiful beach with lots of space, however there is a real lack of shade; like as if this were a two star resort. The snack bar pizza and fries are okay, and the chicken wings are really good. Main buffet has great variety. Italian restaurant is very good.
