Muy bueno. A unos 5-7 minutos a pie del centro. Hermosa instalación con habitaciones grandes y modernas (incluso pensaron en un sistema de sonido en el apartamento). El personal fue amable y servicial. Las habitaciones estaban limpias. Disponer de aparcamiento gratuito para los huéspedes. Solo comentar, el desayuno se sirve en las mesas del restaurante del hotel y faltan los detalles (por ejemplo, si pide un panqueque, no obtendrá cobertura si no lo pide. El café se sirve sin azúcar aparte, por lo que necesito preguntar) pero es un buen desayuno.
Very good. About a 5-7 min walk from the center. Beautiful facility with large modern rooms (they even thought about a sound system in the apartment). The staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean. Have free parking for guests. Only comment, breakfast is served to tables in the hotel restaurant and they are missing the details (for example, if you will order pancake you won't get topping if you won't ask. Coffee is served with no sugar aside so you will need to ask) but it is a nice breakfast.
Excelente para unas vacaciones en familia. El hotel cuenta con habitaciones amplias y modernas y un sabroso desayuno sentado. El desayuno es servicio de mesa con una buena selección de jugos, huevos y quesos locales. Este es probablemente el hotel más moderno de la isla. El registro y la salida fueron rápidos y fáciles. Nuestras habitaciones se sentían como apartamentos reales con espacios separados para comer/cocinar, dormitorios y suficientes asientos para que un grupo pasara el rato juntos. El aparcamiento era gratuito en el garaje debajo del hotel. La ubicación es agradable, a una distancia caminable de toda la ciudad, aunque no directamente en el centro de la ciudad, con algunas tiendas y comida útiles alrededor. El personal del hotel fue servicial a la hora de organizar algunos restaurantes para nuestro grupo. Si tuviera que señalar algunas desventajas menores: el gimnasio aún no está completamente amueblado y hay un ruido mínimo de la calle. No pude probar el restaurante del hotel, pero aparentemente es lo más destacado del hotel. Nos fuimos sintiéndonos muy felices. El Astillero era un valor fuerte.
Excellent for a family vacation. The hotel has large, modern rooms and a tasty sit-down breakfast. Breakfast is table service with a nice selection of juices, eggs, and local cheeses. This is probably the most modern hotel on the island. Checkin and checkout was fast & easy. Our rooms felt like real apartments with separate dining/cooking spaces, bedrooms and enough seating for a group to hang out together. Parking was free in the garage beneath the hotel. The location is nice a walkable distance to the entire city although not directly in the city center with some useful retail and food around. The hotel staff were helpful in arranging some restaurants for our group. If I had to point out some minor downsides - the gym is not yet fully furnished and there is some minimal noise from the street. I didn’t get to try the hotel restaurant but apparently it is a highlight of the hotel. We left feeling very happy. The Shipyard was a strong value.
Hotel bem localizado, os quartos têm uma área generosa e bem decorados. O serviço é muito profissional.
El desayuno es escaso, incluso aunque estés a régimen. Eso de que puedes pedir todas las veces que quieras, no se entiende.La piscina no es piscina.El entorno del hotel es feo, una antigua área industrial, y todavía está por desarrollar.
We spent a few days at the Shipyard Hotel in August 2022;overall we were satisfied, the hotel is relatively new, the staff was mostly attentive and very nice; however, main problem is the rooms on the third floor; due to the architecture the rooms get very hot during the day, it's not possible to cool down as the AC is not suited for the temperature of the room; you can't use the sky windows either, because the ventilation system on the roof causes a lot of noise; in addition, the cleanliness could be improved in a hotel of this class; the breakfast has an interesting concept, but with little variety, vegetarian requests are not really taken care of (we got a plate with cold cuts everyday although asking for cheese only on the first day)
Hotel recente, decorado com bom gosto e com várias escolhas de conforto. No entanto, a falta de profissionalismo do staff é evidente. E uma avaria com duração de meses no sistema de climatização, que simplesmente não funciona, é difícil de compreender.É ainda difícil de compreender a opção do pequeno-almoço ser servido à mesa por funcionários, mediante escolha pelos hospedes de ementa pré-definida. O tempo de preparação é dilatado e toma aos hospedes boa parte da manhã. Os preços não correspondem minimamente ao serviço prestado.
Hotel muy nuevo. Habitaciones limpias y muy amplias. Todo genial.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience staying at The Shipyard. The common areas/rooms in this hotel are all very nice and clean. The staff is absolutely incredible and could not have been more helpful/friendly. They even helped us out when we had an issue with our rental car, and sent us to a local company very close by to get a replacement car (which could not have been easier or more convenient). The included breakfast was very high quality. The location is perfect (very close to town, but tucked away, and right near the ocean). On top of it all, it is very affordable. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel if traveling to Terceira.
Moderno, bem decorado, com um fantástico restaurante.
Têm de melhorar o nível de ruído (muito elevado) que se faz sentir no último piso. Bom serviço.
Moderno hotel apartarmento. El restaurante un poco caro pero de excelente calidad y servicio. Buena carta d e vinos y cocina tradicional con toques de fusion.
5 estrellas - Excelente ubicación. A poca distancia del casco antiguo y de todos los restaurantes. 3-4 estrellas: vista parcial del océano a la derecha, pero algunas están deterioradas en el edificio de la fábrica al otro lado de la calle. 5 estrellas - desayuno. Si tiene la opción de incluirlo, lo recomendaría encarecidamente. 5 estrellas - ¡Los servicios son buenos! Gente extremadamente agradable. 5 estrellas - Las habitaciones son grandes y tienen un baño de buen tamaño.
We loved the Shipyard.The rooms were very large, clean and modern.The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, juice and anything else you might want. We found the people that worked there so helpful. Anna at the front desk was amazing!
5 stars - Great Location. Walking distance to old town & all restaurants. 3-4 stars - partial view of the ocean to the right but some run down factory building across the street. 5 stars - breakfast. if you have option to have it included i would highly recommend it. 5 stars - Services is good!!! Extremely pleasant people. 5 stars - Rooms are big with good size bathroom.
Staff, staff, staff. Best we have encountered in a long time and we are frequent travellers. Accommodations are excellent. Clean, well equipped and spacious. Beds are unbelievably comfortable as are the pillows. Location cannot be bettered. Price does not reflect the level of service excellence. Thanks all for a fantastic experience, beyond expectations! Hotel diferente e novo em Angra. Localizado perto do centro de Angra do Heroísmo em zona tranquila. Com restaurante chamado Oficina da Esquina com preços acima da média. Atendimento simpático.
Fabuloso hotel nuevo (2021), a pasos del puerto y del centro de la ciudad de Angra, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Excelente, personal amable y un restaurante en el que realmente desea comer, más allá del generoso desayuno incluido. Todas las comodidades, muy recomendable la actualización a una suite. No estarás insatisfecho. El hotel está en el sitio de un constructor de barcos histórico, el tema está capturado de manera brillante en el arte original, incluido un viaje de Sonic, instalaciones interactivas de madera que recrean los sonidos de los viejos barcos en construcción. ¡Amo este lugar!
Fabulous, new (2021) Hotel, steps from the harbour and the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Angra. Great, friendly staff, and a restaurant you actually want to eat in - beyond the included, generous, breakfast. All the mod cons, highly recommended the upgrade to a suite. You will not be dissatisfied. The hotel is on the site off an historic ship builder, the theme is brilliantly captured in original art, including a trip of Sonic, interactive wooden installations which recreate the sounds of the old ships being constructed. Love this place!
Após duas das três dormidas programadas, posso afirmar que me sintobastante satisfeito com a minha escolhapara pernoitar na minha viagem à ilha terceira.
Tecnologia aliada ao conforto, bem como localização, fazem deste hotel um dos melhores onde já estive hospedado! Este hotel é muito recente e, contrariando as tendências, nota-se a qualidade de construção e atenção a aspectos práticos. Recomendo vivamente!
IMPRESIONANTE!!! No puedo decir nada malo de este hotel. El personal es taaaan atento, te ayudan y asesoran de maravilla. El desayuno increíble y las chicas del restaurante un auténtico amor. Hablando de la habitación, digamos que nos quedamos sin palabras. Decoración, limpieza y comodidad de 100/10 ( si si, de 100 sobre 10) Ha superado nuestras expectativas con creces. Se ha convertido en nuestro hotel para todas las veces que regresemos a Terceira.
É um Hotel Bikefriendly integrado no projeto BIKOTEL, ou seja, tem ótimascondições, e pretende melhorar, pois é um alojamento recem integrado no projeto Bikotel, para receber praticantes de ciclismo em geral, e tb dispõe de algumas bicicletas (atualmente) em regime de empréstimo, pra quem quiser dar um passeio pelas redondezas. 🚴 Nós Trilharistas dos Açores, represenrantes da ilha Terceira, tivemos direito a uma visita guiada as instalações para verificar as condições existentes.
