The location is in the heart of the city. Close to bars, restaurants, supermarket, boutique ect. The room is simple, but very clean. Excellent personal attention. They made it easier for me to "check in" before the time and to "check out" also a little later than normal. I can only recommend this place...price/quality is good knowing how expensive Iceland is.

This is a budget hotel so don't expect all the trimmings. The good things were that it was clean, warm and the beds were comfy. It is also quite well situated. It could have done with a little renovation, we had an incident with our bathroom ceiling but it was fixed very quickly. Take your own cup and spoon unless you like to drink out of a thimble! The reception staff are not there often but are easy to contact. There is no restaurant on site just a separate bubble tea cafe so I would highly recommend taking a bowl and spoon for breakfast as there is a Bonus supermarket down the road which is very reasonable compared to the very expensive bakery pastries, it doesn't open until 10 though.

Not a lot of amenities on site- no fridge, and no coffee for the kettle. The bedroom was very basic and small but the bathroom was ample sized and accessible because there is no bathtub or shower walls. You could literally shower while sitting on the toilet if you wanted, or use the removable attachment and spray your traveling companion in bed.
There is limited parking available but you're in downtown Reykjavik- which is incredibly walkable, so it's not a huge issue. You are very close to restaurants and retail shops on their biggest tourist street in the city. It's located in a great spot.
The hotel does offer a shuttle to and from the airport, but you will need to book it ahead of time. We had issues doing this online, so it may be worth calling or emailing them directly.
The staff were friendly and willing to accommodate within means. There is an elevator on site as well, for those with mobility issues.
The hotel is attached to the Chatime bubble tea store, which is a huge plus in my opinion.

I arrived at 8am to leave luggage and front desk was not available for half hour. When I return to check in the front desk manager said that Booking.com had canceled my reservation but I had a Confirmation email. He said no worries I have your room. Then he said he had given it to his friend and he had Booking.com cancel my reservation and find me a different hotel. My nephew was meeting me there and now we are staying almost a mile apart. I feel lied to. He had my reservation but lied about Booking.com canceling it when he was the one who had given my room away. I do not recommend this hotel. I spent a half a day there being lied to. I am thankful I booked through Booking.com and they found me a much nicer place but I wish we could have stayed in the same hotel. I am elder and the extra mile each way is hard on me.

Very convenient location. The service was good. However, no food service or restaurant. Very close to important bus stand and local transport. Also, located in the centre of the city of Rejkyavik.
I recommend this if you are travelling alone and only need a place to sleep. It would benefit from a little upgrade of the place and a restaurant with room service.
